Happened to have my macro lens with me at Gerringongs Ourie Pool one morning when I noticed this snail clinging to the ramp. The glow you can see around the shell is the early morning sunlight shining through the thin layer of water that was flowing over the snail.

The old wheels scattered around Windang Island from a failed harbour build in the early 1900s make a great subject to photograph when the tide is right.

Leaving Windang Island after a sunrise shoot and happened to notice these light beams coming out of the clouds, I positioned the lifeguard tower as if it was sitting there watching over the island sitting in the water
